Types a variety of materials such as letters, memos, reports,
correspondence and speech agendas.

Design and type new forms from draft. Revise forms as Texas Education
Agency rules change.

Receive calls and processes PPCD/Speech/Private School Referrals.

Answer telephones, distribute messages as needed.

Orders supplies and maintains supply closet.

Completes work orders as needed by the department.

Receive and complete requests from other school districts and agencies for
student records (folders and microfilm).

Mail request to other districts, doctors, hospitals, etc. for information
required on students.

Duplicate various documents, forms, etc., for TISD personnel.

Mail copies of materials regarding workshops, notices of meetings, and
general information.

Prepare inactive confidential folders for microfilming, i.e. organize
materials in proper order, remove staples, paper clips; microfilm.

Coordinate the referral process (i.e. proof and organize referral packets,
obtain missing forms for referral, etc.)

Maintain referral log.

Aggregate data from referrals.

Open mail, distribute mail as required; process incoming correspondence as
required.

Maintain regular filing system.
-
Maintain filing system of inactive folders.

Maintain forms in file cabinet.

Welcome visitors

Act as liaison between consultants and other personnel.

Complies with directions and instructions from
supervisor and performs other tasks and assumes such responsibilities as
may be assigned.
