717 PRODUCTION CLERK, HIGH SCHOOL

      


QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. Be a high school graduate or hold a GED certificate;

  2. Have experience related to working with students or parents;

  3. Keyboarding and computer proficiency

  4. To comply with the "No Child Left Behind" requirements, at least 48 semester hours of college credit or

    pass a rigorous test to be administered through Region VII.

  5. Desire and ability to work with students and effectively communicate with staff, students, and parents.

REPORTS TO:            Building Principal

JOB GOALS:                 

  1. To reproduce materials for faculty and staff so that maximum benefit will be realized by the educational program of assigned campus.

  2. To assist campus staff as assigned.


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Noncontractual (At-will); Clerical/Technical Paygrade1   Estimated 185  days;   estimated 8 hrs daily Wage/hour status:  nonexempt


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
 

  1.  

Reproduce classroom work and other instructional material for faculty and staff as assigned.
  1.  

Facilitate requests from TISD Graphics Department for campus.
  1.  

Maintain Production Room copier.
  1.  

Order supplies for all campus copiers.
  1.  

Responsible for taking monthly copier use count and reporting count.
  1.  

Assist with campus switchboard/receptionist duties as needed.
  1.  

Complies with directions and instructions from supervisor and performs other tasks and assumes such responsibilities as may be assigned.
  1.  

Maintains positive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and others in the conduct of district business and demonstrates team work in daily activities.
  1.  

Is prompt, timely, and thorough in completing assignments and attending to details accurately and efficiently.
  1.  

Meets attendance standards and complies with notification procedures for absences.
  1.  

Provides complete and accurate information in the conduct of district business.
  1.  

Maintains confidentiality in the conduct of district business.
  1.  

Complies with district policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
  1.  

Adheres to the district's safety policies and procedures.
  1.  

Participates in staff development training programs to improve job performance.

 

EQUIPMENT USED: 

Uses copier, computer, typewriter, telephone, and switchboard.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:  Moderate standing, stooping, bending, and lifting.
