911 FOOD SERVICE COURIER
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED
Experience: Loading and unloading trucks preferred
Texas Drivers License and bonded
REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF FOOD/DISTRIBUTION SERVICES
JOB GOALS:
Receiving campus food service monies
Safe delivery of monies to the bank
Assists in other deliveries and pick ups as needed
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Noncontractual (At-will); Manual/Trades Paygrade: 1;Estimated 183 days; estimated 4.75 hours dailyWage/Hour Status: Nonexempt
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1.
Responsible for safely picking up campus cafeteria monies daily.
2.
Responsible for safe delivery of cafeteria money back to the bank.
3.
Systematically picks up money bags from the previous night’s delivery.
4.
Safely picks up school activity funds and delivers them to the accounting department as needed.
5.
Accurately completes daily bank night depository reports.
6.
Submits bank night depository reports to the accounting department daily.
7.
Complies with directions and instructions from supervisor and performs other tasks and assumes such responsibilities as may be assigned.
8.
Maintains positive and cooperative working relationships with colleagues and others in the conduct of district business and demonstrates team work in daily activities.
9.
Is prompt, timely, and thorough in completing assignments and attending to details accurately and efficiently.
10.
Meets attendance standards and complies with notification procedures for absences.
11.
Provides complete and accurate information in the conduct of district business.
12.
Maintains confidentiality in the conduct of district business.
13.
Complies with district policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations.
EQUIPMENT USED: WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands: Reading; ability to perform basic arithmetic; ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); maintain emotional control under stress; maintain confidentiality.
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:Strenuous walking; moderate lifting and carrying; stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. work outside and inside; exposure to hot and cold temperatures; exposure to dampness and humidity; exposure to slippery or uneven surfaces. Works with frequent interruptions. Daily districtwide travel.
