years or more work experience installing, maintaining,
and repairing networked computers and peripherals.

Knowledge of
computer workstation setup; both stand-alone and networked.

Knowledge of
common computer hardware and software applications.

Knowledge of
network operating systems and theory of operation.

Ability to
install, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals including printers,
modems, and scanners.

Ability to install
and maintain network cables and hardware.

Ability to
diagnose and perform repairs.

Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of

Provide technical assistance to faculty and staff for use of technology

Maintain accurate records of time and materials required to perform
repairs and service. |

Operate tools and equipment to prescribed safety procedures. |

10.

Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties
including lifting,
climbing, carrying, etc. |

Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that
are not correctable
to the supervisor immediately. |

Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed. |
