Dogan Middle School Receives Supplies

Dogan Middle School is partnering with Home Depot as the home improvement store’s September service project of the month.

On Friday, September 29 at 9 a.m., Home Depot will deliver to Dogan Middle School buckets, lids, and water to be used for the school’s emergency evacuation plan.   These materials are provided for each teacher so necessary items are stored in one location in each classroom throughout the school.

“I am appreciative of sponsors like Home Depot to help carry out plans for the safety of our children,” said Dogan Middle School Principal Onella Brown.  “We are thankful to have members of the community willing to support us in these efforts.”

These buckets will be used as a part of fire and tornado drills or in the event of an evacuation of the campus.

The school plans to add other items to the buckets such as first aid kits, student class rosters, and activities for the students.
