Tyler ISD Superintendent, Dr. Randy Reid, will be the keynote speaker at Tyler’s second annual Real Girls Real Women Awards Luncheon on Thursday, September 24 at 12:00 p.m. at Marvin United Methodist Church, located at 300 W. Erwin St, Tyler.
The event is hosted by the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas and KYTX/CBS19 Evening Anchor, Gillian Sheridan, will serve as the program’s Mistress of Ceremonies. Girl Scouts and extraordinary volunteers will be recognized at the event. This year’s Real Girls Real Women honorees are Outstanding Girl Scout, Brittany Lozano; Outstanding Girl Scout Leader, Kelly Jackman; and Outstanding Community Volunteers, Eleanor Cameron and Reverend Orenthia Mason. Reverend Mason is the Tyler ISD Board of Trustee for District 2.
“The Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas is so proud to honor these four exemplary females,” said Tyler Real Girls Real Women Luncheon Chair, Alesha Williams. “Their dedication to Girl Scouts is a true inspiration to us all and we thank them for their commitment to making our community and the world a better place.”
The event will feature a silent auction beginning at 10:30 am with the luncheon beginning promptly at 12:00 p.m. Real Girls Real Women honorees will greet guests during the silent auction.
