TISD Students Celebrate End of Summer with Graduation

Although summer is about over, it is just the beginning for some high school students who have completed their graduation requirements.  A graduation ceremony will take place on Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. at the Caldwell Auditorium, located at 300 South College, in Tyler.  A total of thirty-seven students from John Tyler and Robert E. Lee high schools will graduate from the summer school program.

“These students have worked hard this summer to make sure they met the graduation requirements and they deserve a lot of credit,” said Jason Dubose, Principal of Tyler ISD Summer School.
