JT Basketball Coach Resigns

            Gerald Anthony, head Boys Basketball Coach at John Tyler High School, announced today that he is resigning from his position with Tyler ISD effective June 26.  Anthony cited personal reasons for his resignation. 

            Tyler ISD Director of Athletics Danny Long expressed gratitude for Anthony serving as the head coach for the past two seasons.

            This coaching position will be posted immediately on the Tyler ISD website, as well as the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA).  Interested candidates need to submit a resume to Athletic Director Danny Long, 807 W Glenwood, Tyler, Texas 75710.
