TISD Foundation Campaign Theme Announced

The Tyler Independent School District Foundation has announced the theme of this year’s annual fund drive, according to Gary Howell, Campaign Chair and President of Hibbs Hallmark Insurance.  The Foundation will use the theme “I Love Tyler ISD” as the campaign’s slogan.

“We join in celebrating the achievements of Tyler ISD by seeking donations in support of our public school system,” Howell said. 

The campaign begins with a kick off luncheon Friday, November 10^th, with the expected goal of the campaign to be announced, along with gift results to that date.

“The Tyler ISD Foundation conducts an annual fund drive in order to financially support programs within the school district not normally funded by tax dollars,” Larry Goddard, Executive Director, stated. 

The Foundation provides grants to teachers and campuses for innovative programs and helps fund the Advanced Placement Incentive Program.  The Foundation also seeks funding for special events, such as the Teacher of the Year banquet, the district-wide Convocation, retirement and service anniversary events.

“With each donation, an individual or area business is letting the community know that they support the efforts of Tyler ISD teachers and administrators,” Goddard said.
