Griffin Elementary School Architectural plans were 100 % complete excluding civil and structural drawings. Currently, civil and structural engineers have been put on hold until further notice.

Orr Elementary School The Office Construction Trailer has been located on site. Playground equipment is in the process of being moved. Our goal for dirt work to begin is February 23rd contingent upon the return of permits by the City. Construction fencing around the campus perimeter has been installed.

Woods Elementary School The Office Construction Trailer is not on site - awaiting foundational dirt work. Playground equipment has been moved. Our goal for dirt work to begin is February 23rd contingent upon the return of permits by the City. Construction fencing around the campus perimeter has been installed. Denson Construction has requested of the City that a section of Hudnall street be closed during the construction process. The decision from the City is pending, yet expected shortly. The dirt work is expected to begin February 23rd conditional upon the City permit.

Jones/Boshears Campus Denson Construction received civil plans on this project today. They will begin distribution of these documents and take proposals for dirt work, utilities and segmented retaining walls on March 10th. Plan and specification reviews are currently being conducted. Civil documents have been reviewed. Construction is scheduled to begin March 23rd.

This project is unique - different from typical Tyler ISD elementary schools. Tyler ISD standards are being utilized for the most part in the architectural design; however, items such as the therapy spa, added restrooms, the horse arena, lift system, etc. are not typical. Building packages will be issued for bids March 5th with receipt of bids April 6th for board approval April 16th.
