Board Selects Consulting Firm for Superintendent Search

The Board of Trustees selected Bracewell & Giuliani LLP as the consulting firm to assist the Board in conducting a search for a new superintendent to lead Tyler ISD.  Mr. J. David Thompson, attorney and partner in the law firm of Bracewell & Giuliani LLP in Houston, Texas, and Dr. Mike Moses, will begin immediately to head the search for the most outstanding school executive available to lead TISD.  They plan to meet with the Board of Trustees in the near future to set parameters of the search.  The firm also plans to host meetings throughout the district to hear the desires of the community.

The Board of Trustees interviewed four consulting firms interested in heading the search efforts.
